Job Summary:

• We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated

  Senior Civil Engineer

  to lead and manage civil engineering projects from planning through execution.
• The role involves overseeing design, construction, and quality control, while ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects (e.g., buildings, roads, infrastructure).
• Review and approve engineering designs, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
• Prepare project budgets, timelines, and resource plans, and monitor progress to ensure milestones are met.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure work is performed as per approved plans and quality standards.
• Resolve technical issues on-site and provide engineering guidance to junior staff and site teams.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
• Oversee preparation of reports, estimates, and tender documents.
• Mentor and supervise junior engineers and other technical staff.
• Liaise with government authorities and attend project meetings as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Professional certification (e.g., Chartered Engineer, PE, or equivalent) is an advantage.

• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in civil engineering and project management.
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles, construction methods, and project management tools.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MS Project, and other relevant software.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, scheduling, and quality assurance processes.

Work Conditions:

• Primarily site-based with office coordination.
• May require travel to multiple project sites.
• Working under tight deadlines with responsibility for large-scale projects.
