Job Summary:

• We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented

  AutoCAD Designer

  to produce technical drawings and plans for construction, manufacturing, or engineering projects.
• The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in AutoCAD (2D and 3D), strong attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with engineers and other professionals to turn concepts into accurate, high-quality technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD software based on specifications and design briefs.
• Interpret and convert sketches, verbal instructions, or technical data into CAD drawings.
• Modify and update existing designs as per project revisions or feedback.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure designs meet required standards and specifications.
• Ensure drawings are accurate, properly dimensioned, and compliant with relevant codes and standards.
• Maintain organized records of all design files and versions.
• Conduct design reviews and resolve any discrepancies or drafting issues.
• Assist in preparing presentation layouts, as-built drawings, and shop drawings when required.
• Stay up to date with AutoCAD software updates, drafting techniques, and industry trends.

Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or relevant field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D essential, 3D preferred).
• Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience in drafting/design.

• Familiarity with other design software like Revit, SketchUp, SolidWorks, or similar is a plus.
• Understanding of construction or manufacturing processes and technical standards.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Work Conditions:

• Office-based role with occasional site visits if required.
• May require coordination with teams across different locations and disciplines.
