Senior Civil 3D Draftsman

Key Responsibilities:

• Performs non-routine and complex assignments from verbal instructions and under minimal supervision.
• Utilize Civil 3D & Revit software to create detailed and accurate design drawings for infrastructure, roads, utilities, and light industrial projects.
• Prepare comprehensive documentation, including plan sheets, details, and quantity take-offs, ensuring all deliverables meet industry standards and project specifications, and the responsibilities includes the layout preparation those listed below.

i. Land coordination layouts

ii. Topographic survey layouts

iii. Road staking layouts

iv. Road profiles

v. Road marking and traffic sign layouts

vi. Swept path analysis layout

vii. Site grading and storm drainage layouts

viii. Storm drainage channels, pipelines and culvert detailed layouts

ix. Potable and fire water distribution system layouts

x. Potable water longitudinal profile layouts

xi. Wastewater system, longitudinal profiles and manhole layouts

xii. Fuel gas pipe sleeves layouts

xiii. Irrigation water distribution system, longitudinal profiles and valves layouts

xiv. Road utilities composite layout

xv. Road landscapes layouts

xvi. Structural layouts

xvii. Corrosion protection of concrete surfaces, waterproofing, and deck paving layouts.

xviii. MV, LV & HV electrical duct bank rebar layouts

xix. Street and area lighting and traffic signal detailed layouts

xx. Telecommunication manholes and cable duct entrance rebar detailed layouts

xxi. Micro duct and fiber optic design layouts for CMP/FTTP networks

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 5-7 years' experience in civil design, specifically using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices.
• Experience with site grading, drainage design, and roadway design.
• Proficient in preparing construction documents and drawings.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication abilities and a team-oriented mindset.
• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
• GIS experience is a plus
• Knowledge of utility plan design and utility plan preparation
• Strong attention to detail with exceptional thoroughness for plan design
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Ability to manage, mentor, and train more junior-level team members.
