Position : Sr. Business Development Manager - Open Source Salary: upto 15 - 25 LPA Experience : 10 - 15 years (Atleast 5 years in Opensource Database sales ) Location: Mumbai Job Details: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1nANYoOs0b3FQO7rGzzc4_F2kQtIIfTm3ipV-3MGr2P8/edit?usp=sharing What You’ll Do: Find sales opportunities for non-Oracle databases (like PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.) in big companies. Talk to different people in the client’s team (Database, IT, Project teams) to understand their needs. Suggest solutions, guide them through the sales process, negotiate deals, and close sales. Work with OEM partners (companies that bundle/sell these databases) for business deals. Be target-driven – meet sales goals consistently. Who Should Apply? Experience: 10-15 years in sales, with at least 5 years selling open-source databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.) to big companies. Track Record: Must have a history of meeting sales targets in past jobs. Education: Engineering/Science degree + MBA (preferred). Communication Skills: Good in English + Hindi/local language. Reporting To: Sales Head / EDB Relationship Head This is a high-responsibility role where you’ll independently handle big clients and drive sales for non-Oracle databases.
