Job Description

Job purpose:

Developing and managing client base for Azilen Product Engineering Services with a strong understanding of the B2B Service Selling industry for South Africa.


Who you are:

  • International Business Development

    – At least 10 years of experience in acquiring and managing clients from global markets, especially in software or IT services.
  • Consultative Selling

    – Ability to understand complex client needs and propose custom tech solutions (AI/ML, IoT, Blockchain, or Product Engineering).
  • Sales Strategy & Forecasting

    – Skilled in planning, executing, and tracking region-specific sales strategies and performance metrics.
  • Experience in Emerging Tech Sales

    – Especially in AI/ML-driven solutions or data-focused product engineering.
  • Market Research & Intelligence

    – Expertise in researching new markets, identifying business opportunities, and gathering insights to guide outreach.
  • Networking & Relationship Management

    – Strong relationship-building with CXOs and decision-makers across regions.
  • Communication & Negotiation

    – Excellent verbal and written communication; adept at cross-cultural communication and enterprise-level negotiations.
  • Ownership & Autonomy

    – Proven ability to manage geography or vertical independently, from lead generation to deal closure.

  • Track Record of Sales Growth: Demonstrated success in driving consistent revenue and client base expansion in B2B technology or IT services.
  • International Travel & Regional Exposure: Prior hands-on experience with overseas clients, including on-site visits or business trips.
  • Partnership Development: Experience building strategic partnerships, alliances, or channel relationships.
  • AI/ML Service Sales (Preferred): Exposure to selling emerging tech solutions like generative AI, ML-driven automation, or data-driven software products.
  • Ownership & Autonomy: Experience in independently managing a target geography or vertical from lead generation to closure.
  • Event Representation: Comfort in representing the company at trade shows, conferences, or networking events to generate qualified leads.
