Senior Business Analyst/ SME

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be responsible for various tasks including data analysis and mapping, system configuration, implementation, training, and support of software applications for new and existing clients. You will need to adhere to project standards, ensure timely completion of projects, and meet client specifications. This role involves client interaction and may require travel to client sites as needed. The work you will be performing is generally of moderate complexity. Your responsibilities will include: - Interacting with clients to determine project requirements and conduct needs analysis. - Configuring system parameters and controls based on clients" business practices and processes, recommending best practices, and gaining client acceptance. - Conducting data analysis and mapping activities for assigned applications, analyzing source data files, and mapping data to target applications. - Providing on-site or remote support during client conversions. - Testing and troubleshooting system configuration and functionality, validating new system input, output, and connectivity. - Identifying, researching, and assisting in resolving any technical issues that may arise. - Communicating project scope, status, and risks to stakeholders, recording project-related activities accurately and timely. - Following established project, departmental, and company procedures and quality standards, as well as project management standards. - Managing assigned implementation projects to ensure timely completion and appropriate client transition. - Updating internal documentation, providing subject matter expertise to internal staff, and participating in the development of implementation or training content. Additionally, you will be required to have: - Minimum of 6 years of experience in a relevant area, preferably in a financial institution or industry software company. - Client-facing service experience. - Strongly preferred experience in software implementation, support, or training. - Knowledge of project management disciplines is a plus.
