Key Skills:

Roles and Responsibilities:

Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders across insurance functions
Model end-to-end business processes and workflows for underwriting and claims
Ensure adherence to IRDAI regulations and industry compliance standards
Collaborate with underwriting teams to define risk assessment rules and guidelines
Work with claims teams to optimize claims-handling workflows and SLAs
Translate business requirements into functional specifications / BRD / FRD for development teams
Conduct gap analysis and propose effective process improvement strategies
Support UAT, testing, and validation of implemented solutions to ensure business acceptance
Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring clarity and alignment

Skills Required:

Strong domain expertise in Insurance, particularly Underwriting and Claims
Hands-on experience in requirement gathering, gap analysis, and workflow modeling
Proficiency in business documentation and functional specification writing
Knowledge of IRDAI guidelines and compliance frameworks
Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and problem-solving skills
