Senior Business Analyst - AI Demand and Governance

In this role, you will be a Business Systems Analyst supporting the Velocity AI Framework program, which aims to accelerate AI capabilities for the enterprise. Your responsibilities will involve gathering critical information from stakeholders, acting as a liaison between stakeholders and the development team, managing competing resources and priorities, ensuring solutions meet business needs, implementing and maintaining procedures, ensuring timely project completion, and producing performance reporting documentation. You are expected to be a self-starter and collaborative team player with strong experience in AI and AI project consultation, exceptional business development and ROI/value analysis skills, and a solid foundation in data analysis and reporting to drive strategic, data-led decisions. **Key Responsibilities:** - Review intake submissions and business use cases, serving as a liaison between stakeholders and development/IT teams - Provide guidance to internal customers on project feasibility and information to stakeholders and functional leaders - Conduct project management functions to achieve schedule, resource, and quality goals - Establish and maintain beneficial working relationships across business organizations - Consult with business leaders on business outcomes related to strategy, financial analysis, business value, and ROI - Manage intake and feedback mechanisms - Define project scope and develop project plans, scoping documents, and reporting documentation - Proactively manage changes in project scope **Qualifications Required:** - Consultative mindset with experience in partnering with business customers - Minimum 5 years of experience in a BA/BSA role - Solid Agile experience - History of leading and supporting successful projects - Excellent project management, organizational, time management, and team leadership skills - Broad business and technical knowledge - Self-motivated and highly organized with the ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment - Ability to manage multiple work streams simultaneously - Understanding of software development lifecycles - Strong communication, negotiation, documentation, and presentation skills - Data-driven analysis skills for measuring and managing delivery - Professionalism in various working environments **About Red Hat:** Red Hat is the world's leading provider of enterprise open-source software solutions, delivering high-performing Linux, cloud, container, and Kubernetes technologies through a community-powered approach.
