Job Title: Senior BIM Technician - Bridges Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Senior BIM Technician specializing in bridge projects to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and a thorough understanding of bridge design and construction processes. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and manage detailed BIM models for various bridge projects using advanced software tools. - Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of BIM deliverables. - Conduct clash detection and coordination efforts to identify and resolve potential issues before construction. - Provide technical support and guidance to junior BIM technicians and other team members. - Assist in the preparation and review of project documentation. - Stay updated on the latest BIM technologies, software, and industry standards to enhance project outcomes. - Ability to handle projects independently following the Quality process required. - Participate in project meetings and communicate effectively with the project team and clients. Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree/ Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. - Proven experience in BIM modeling for bridge projects, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work. - Proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Sofistik, Navisworks, and Civil 3D. - Excellent understanding of structural design principles and bridge engineering practices. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. - Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
