We are looking for a BigCommerce Developer to produce scalable Website solutions. You will be part of an Ecommerce Team that is responsible for the complete backend part. As a BigCommerce Developer, you should be comfortable around back-end coding languages and third-party libraries. Roles & Responsibilities

• Work independently to develop Ecommerce sites on BigCommerce
• Developing custom BigCommerce themes
• Migrating websites from other Ecommerce platforms to BigCommerce
• Extending BigCommerce functionalities to next level
• Integrating third party and platform supported apps in the sites
• Setting up payment integration, shipping methods and taxes in BigCommerce platform
• Optimizing page speed of BigCommerce Sites
• Transforming complex XD/PSD layouts into pixel-perfect presentation layer HTML5/ CSS3 / Tailwind CSS templates
• Creating responsive website designs
• Headless Store Development using NextJS / ReactJS and GraphQL
• Working with version control systems such as GIT
• Working under tight deadlines
• Producing high-quality work with a strong focus on detail

Skills & Characteristics

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in BigCommerce website development
• Strong knowledge of BigCommerce platform
• Expertise in BigCommerce theme development and customization
• Expert level knowledge of BigCommerce Stencil framework (handlebars, front matters etc..)
• Comfortability working with Storefront APIs and Stencil util-APIs
• Expertise in JavaScript libraries (eg: jQuery)
• BigCommerce certification (preferred)
• Setting up payment integration, shipping methods and taxes in BigCommerce platform
• Implementing SEO/CRO best practices in BigCommerce sites
• Good knowledge of Stencil Framework, ReactJS, NextJS and GraphQL
• Good communication skills across all platforms
• Strong passion for frontend technology, best practices, and continuous improvement
• Highly organized with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced team environment
• Detail-oriented and highly organized
• Ability to work in a team in a transparent and entrepreneurial culture
