Software Engineering Java Engineer Senior India Remote Apply now Refer a friend now We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our Team and bring to life new features and support the move of our services and products to modern architecture. You will be working closely with Product Owner, Area Architect and your team members clarifying business needs and technical requirements and defining how to support them in the best way. In close collaboration with other teams, your team will introduce new features and improvements into website to provide better experience for more than 11 million customers! What project we have for you In close collaboration with other teams, your team will introduce new features and improvements to the process to provide a better experience for more than 11 million of our customers! What you will do Design, implement and deliver highly scalable backend applications. Be part of robust development process based on best Agile and Software Engineering practices such as quick iterations, demos, code reviews, shift-left testing and automated production deployments. Have a high level of independence and responsibility for the owned topics. What you need for this 7+ years practical experience in software development in JVM based ecosystem. Expertise in Amazon Web Services (S3, SNS, SQS, CloudFront, Lambda) with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), particularly using Terraform. Passionate about writing clean, modular, testable code, designed with architectural principles in mind and proper use of design patterns. Strong focus on automated testing, including unit, integration, contract, and end-to-end testing; ensuring high-quality and reliable software. Fluency in English and good communication skills. Ready to work with on-call duties approximately 1 week on call every 8 weeks.
