Senior Backend Developer

Role Overview

We are looking for a strong Backend Developer who can build, scale, and optimize backend systems that handle high traffic and low latency. You will work closely with product, mobile, and DevOps teams to design APIs, microservices, data pipelines, and event-driven systems.

This is a hands-on engineering role with ownership of architecture, code quality, performance, and scalability.

What Youll Do

Core Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using

  Node.js

  (TypeScript preferred).
• Build scalable REST APIs and internal microservices.
  
• Implement event-driven workflows using

  Kafka

  or similar messaging systems.
• Develop caching, rate-limiting, and session-management layers using

  Redis

  .
• Work with

  AWS

  services (EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, SNS/SQS, CloudWatch, RDS, IAM).
• Write efficient database queries (PostgreSQL / MongoDB).
  
• Ensure high reliability, fault tolerance, and secure access control.
  
• Own CI/CD pipelines with DevOps for smooth deployments.
  
• Optimize services for

  performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency

• Maintain documentation, API contracts, and architectural diagrams.
  

Must-Have Skills

• 2–5 years

  of backend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in

  Node.js

  and asynchronous programming.
• Experience with

  AWS Cloud

  (IAM, EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch).
• Experience with

  Kafka

  (producers/consumers, partitions, offsets).
• Experience with

  Redis

  (pub/sub, caching strategies, TTL, cluster mode).
• Strong understanding of

  REST API design

  , HTTP, Webhooks.
• Deep knowledge of

  Data Structures & Algorithms

  .
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL (Postgres, MongoDB).
  
• Working knowledge of Git, CI/CD, and Linux basics.
