Senior Backend Developer

We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer with a strong command of Python, Django, and AWS to be a part of our expanding team. The perfect candidate will possess a robust background in backend development, expertise in cloud infrastructure, and a keen interest in constructing scalable and high-performance applications. Your primary responsibilities will involve collaborating closely with our front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to devise and uphold server-side logic, ensuring flawless integration and peak performance. Located Onsite at Yerwada, Pune- 411006, you should have 5-7 years of experience in Python and Django. There are 2 vacancies available for this role. Your duties will include developing, optimizing, and maintaining server-side applications utilizing Python and Django, designing and implementing RESTful APIs to back front-end functionalities, and working with AWS to manage and deploy applications effectively. Furthermore, you will coordinate with front-end developers to fuse user-facing elements with server-side logic, enhance applications for maximum speed and scalability, and oversee databases and data storage solutions. Troubleshooting and debugging applications to ensure high-quality and performance standards, implementing security and data protection measures, taking part in code reviews, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives will also be part of your responsibilities. To be successful in this role, you should have 2-3 years of experience in backend development with Python and Django, hands-on experience with AWS services like EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and more, a solid grasp of web technologies such as HTTP, REST, and JSON, and familiarity with relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL. Proficiency in designing and developing RESTful APIs, knowledge of version control systems like Git, experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines, and a good understanding of best practices for software development, including code reviews, testing, and documentation are also essential. Strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently and in a team environment, good knowledge of Celery for managing asynchronous tasks and background jobs, experience with Redis for caching and message brokering, and an understanding of synchronous and asynchronous programming paradigms are required. Additionally, familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes, knowledge of microservices architecture and serverless computing, experience with other backend frameworks or languages like Flask, FastAPI, Django, an understanding of front-end technologies (e.g., JavaScript, HTML, CSS) for better collaboration with front-end teams, and experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies are preferred qualifications.
