Job Description

We are seeking a

highly skilled and experienced Senior Azure Administrator

with

10+ years of IT experience

(6+ years relevant) to

design, deploy, and optimize Azure environments

. The ideal candidate will have expertise in

Azure security, networking, automation, and resource optimization

to support our

data and analytics initiatives

Key Responsibilities:

Azure Environment Management:
- Design, deploy, and maintain
  Azure IaaS and PaaS environments
  .
- Configure and optimize
  VMs, storage accounts, networking, and security settings
  .
- Ensure
  high availability, scalability, and performance
  of Azure resources.
- Provision
  Windows & Linux VMs
  manually or using
  ARM Templates
  .

Security, Compliance, and Governance:
- Implement
  best practices
  for
  identity & access management, data encryption, and auditing
  .
- Configure and monitor
  Azure security components
  (NSGs, Firewalls, VPNs, Private Endpoints).
- Manage
  Azure ARC
  for
  on-premises server management
  .

Performance Monitoring & Optimization:
- Monitor Azure environments using
  Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Network Watcher
  .
- Optimize
  resource utilization and cost
  using capacity planning techniques.
- Set up
  alerting on operational changes
  and log analytics workspace.

Automation & Infrastructure Management:
- Use
  Azure Automation Account
  for task scheduling.
- Manage
  patching using Azure Update Manager
  .
- Troubleshoot
  network latencies & performance issues
  .

Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity:
- Implement
  Azure-based disaster recovery solutions
  .
- Ensure
  high availability and resilience
  of critical workloads.

Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree
in
Computer Science, IT, or related field
.

6+ years of hands-on experience
in
administering Azure environments
.

Strong experience in Azure Networking
(VNets, NSGs, Peering, Firewalls, VPN, Load Balancers).

Expertise in PowerShell scripting & automation
.

Experience with Azure monitoring tools
(Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Network Watcher).

Knowledge of cost management & resource optimization techniques
.

Azure Certifications (preferred):
- Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
- Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)
