Senior Automation Test Engineer

Role Overview: As a Senior Automation Test Engineer at United Airlines, you will play a crucial role in the delivery of enterprise software testing projects with a focus on automation. You will collaborate with various teams to design, implement, and execute automation test strategies while ensuring quality governance, risk assessment, and key metrics are met. Your problem-solving skills and attention to detail will be essential in this fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the design and implementation of automation and manual test strategies for software and systems - Collaborate with developers, QE analysts, and system engineers to ensure quality from test planning to production deployment - Own and maintain automation artifacts, tools, licenses & framework, and conduct automation audits - Manage and mitigate testing-related risks and issues, track testing KPIs, and integrate automation frameworks with CI/CD pipelines - Integrate GenAI into existing automation framework and enhance the quality of automation test scripts for various testing scenarios Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent work experience - 4-6 years of experience in Software Automation - AWS Cloud Practitioner certification - ISQTB/CSTE certification or equivalent - Proficiency in test automation programming/scripting using tools like ReadyAPI, Rest Assure, Selenium, etc. - Strong understanding of Agile & Waterfall methodologies, backend testing, release management processes, and cloud technologies - Experience with Test Data Modeling, DevOps CI/CD implementation, and working with distributed global teams - Ability to work under time constraints and provide support during off/CST hours for production deployments Additional Details: This position is offered on local terms and conditions and does not include expatriate assignments or sponsorship for employment visas.
