We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented QA SDET Automation Engineer with 5+ years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining robust automation test frameworks using Java and Selenium. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in test automation, quality assurance, and continuous integration in Agile environments. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reusable test automation frameworks Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify testing requirements. Develop and execute automated test scripts for web-based applications. Troubleshoot and resolve automation issues. Integrate automated testing with CI/CD pipelines. Participate in agile development methodologies. Requirements: 3-8 years of experience in automation testing using Java and Selenium. Strong Java programming skills. Expertise in Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, and Maven. Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD). Knowledge of Agile development methodologies. Excellent problem-solving skills. Role & responsibilities : Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive testing strategy aligned with the company's business objectives and quality standards. Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of testers, including test leads, engineers, and analysts, to ensure high performance, collaboration, and professional growth. Test Planning and Execution: Oversee the planning, design, and execution of test plans, test cases, and test scripts across various projects and product lines. Ensure thorough coverage of functional, non-functional, and regression testing. Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce quality assurance processes and standards to identify defects, track issues, and verify software and product quality throughout the development lifecycle. Automation and Tooling: Drive the adoption and implementation of test automation frameworks, tools, and technologies to enhance efficiency, scalability, and reliability of testing processes. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and dependencies associated with testing activities and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on project timelines and deliverables. Collaboration: Foster strong collaboration and communication with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and operations, to ensure alignment of testing efforts with project requirements and priorities. Strong technical skills in software testing methodologies, tools, and techniques. Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, HP UFT, or Test Complete. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Ruby. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and identify root causes.
