About the Role

Senior Automation Test Engineer / Lead

This role offers an opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies, integrate AI-driven tools into testing workflows, and lead QA initiatives in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and execute

  automation and manual test cases

  for various applications.
• Develop and maintain test scripts using

  Selenium with TestNG

  frameworks.
• Perform

  API Testing using Postman Automation

  and integrate it with CI/CD pipelines.
• Conduct

  database automation testing

  and validate backend data integrity.
• Collaborate closely with

  development and business teams

  to ensure complete test coverage.
• Drive the adoption of

  Agile testing best practices

  within the team.
• Utilize

  AI-based tools

  to optimize and enhance testing efficiency.
• Work with

  Bitbucket and Jenkins

  for version control and test automation integration.
• Lead and mentor the QA team, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
• Participate in requirement analysis and review of functional specifications.
• Communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders across teams.
  

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years

  of hands-on experience in

  Automation Testing

  using Selenium and TestNG.

• 5+ years

  in

  Manual Testing

  of web and enterprise applications.

• 4+ years

  in

  API Testing

  using Postman or similar tools.
• Practical experience in

  Agile process and frameworks

  (Scrum/Kanban).
• Strong knowledge of

  Bitbucket, Jenkins

  , and

  DB Automation Testing

  .
• Good exposure to leveraging

  AI tools in testing

  (e.g., AI-based test case generation, defect prediction).
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Experience in

  team handling / QA leadership

  preferred.

Good to Have

• Exposure to

  CI/CD pipeline automation

  and DevOps testing.
• Familiarity with

  cloud-based testing environments (AWS, Azure)

  .
• Knowledge of

  performance or security testing

  tools.
• Certifications in

  ISTQB / Agile / Selenium / API Testing

  .
