Design, create, and execute automated test scripts for Web and API applications.
Perform thorough manual testing to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Understand business requirements and translate them into test scenarios.
Develop and maintain comprehensive test strategies and test case documentation.
Execute regression, functional, integration, and exploratory testing.
Work collaboratively with developers, product managers, and business stakeholders.
Manage and track defects using bug tracking systems such as JIRA.
Participate in sprint planning and daily stand-ups to align on test coverage and timelines.

Required Skills:

Strong understanding of manual testing concepts and QA processes.
Minimum 2 years of work experience In QA
Proven experience in automated testing of Web and/or API-based applications.
Hands-on experience with JIRA or similar bug tracking tools.
Ability to think critically from a business and user perspective.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent time management and organizational abilities.

Desired Skills:

Exposure to Java, Selenium WebDriver, or Cypress, Playwright and NightWatch modern automation frameworks.
Experience with version control systems like Git.
Understanding of CI/CD tools and pipelines is a plus.
Knowledge of insurance domain or enterprise applications is an advantage.
