Senior Associate/Manager - Business Development - Solar (Open Access/Rooftop - C&I - South India)

The Business Development team plays a crucial role in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, establishing strategic partnerships, and driving the growth and success of the company. Your efforts will be instrumental in supporting the organization's mission of providing sustainable and clean energy solutions worldwide. As an experienced professional, you will be responsible for managing Business Development activities in Southern India. Your key contributions will include acquiring new customers for on-site/off-site solar projects, conducting pre-sales activities such as understanding client requirements, performing site feasibility studies, and preparing proposals. Additionally, you will be tasked with cultivating and maintaining relationships with business associates and channel partners, overseeing existing customers from pre-sales to project delivery and collections, and managing technical and commercial negotiations of power purchase agreements (PPA) to ensure order finalization. Moreover, you will be expected to develop and execute a marketing strategy to expand into new states, requiring basic knowledge of engineering drawings, an understanding of photovoltaic technology, and installation processes. The ideal candidate for this role should possess a minimum of 4 years of B2B experience in business development, preferably within the solar rooftop sector, with a focus on C&I consumers. Experience in negotiating long-term power purchase agreements and EPC contracts is essential, along with a B.Tech degree in any stream. Candidates with an MBA qualification will be given preference. Strong interpersonal skills and technical acumen are necessary to collaborate effectively with the Engineering team to finalize project capacities and requirements.,
