The Senior Store associate plays a crucial role in the absence of the assistant manager or store manager, ensuring optimal sales performance and delivering exceptional customer service. As a brand representative, the Senior Store associate upholds the company's standards and assists customers in selecting and purchasing products. Responsibilities include providing outstanding customer care, meeting sales targets, and fulfilling store objectives. The position may involve surpassing personal sales goals, promoting company programs, delivering effective sales presentations, and fostering customer relationships. Duties of the Senior Store associate encompass enhancing customer satisfaction, maintaining store condition and merchandising standards, managing inventory, understanding customer needs, recommending suitable products, managing point-of-sale processes, and staying updated on product information. Additionally, the associate is expected to prioritize customer loyalty, deliver top-notch service, and ensure store security. Minimum qualifications for the role include a Bachelors/Masters degree in the relevant field, proven experience in retail sales, understanding of sales principles and customer service practices, excellent communication skills, customer service orientation, and a preference for animal lovers.
