Role Overview: At PwC, the cybersecurity team focuses on protecting organizations from cyber threats by utilizing advanced technologies and strategies. As a SOAR Implementation Engineer / Security Automation Developer, you will be responsible for working on technical design, development, and implementation of automations for various technologies that support security operations. Your role will involve implementing security automation workflows in SOAR solutions, conducting unit and integration testing, resolving technical issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of SOAR solutions within the organization's broader security architecture. Key Responsibilities: - Work on technical design, development, and implementation of automations for various technologies supporting security operations - Implement security automation workflows in SOAR solutions - Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure compliance with standards and design specifications - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and adopt best practices for methodologies - Address and resolve technical issues - Document automations comprehensively - Conduct peer code review Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in a relevant area of study, preferably in Computer Science or Computer Engineering - Proven expertise in Python, JavaScript, and Bash programming languages - Experience working with REST APIs - Strong understanding of cyber security fundamentals and networking fundamentals - Knowledge of SOAR technologies such as Google SecOps SOAR, Palo Alto Cortex XSOAR, etc. - Cloud fundamentals knowledge in AWS, Azure, and GCP - Knowledge of HTML development, databases, writing SQL queries, and Unix operating systems - Experience with Git and version control tools - Strong verbal and written communication skills Additional Details: Years of Experience: 4 to 8 years Assets: - Industry certifications are nice to have - Knowledge of SIEM, EDR, and network security tools - Knowledge of networking fundamentals - Experience with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and Puppet Professional and Educational Background: - Bachelor's degree preferred,
