Senior Associate (M&A)

We are hiring a Corporate M&A Lawyer for a Tier-1 law firm – Immediate Hiring

Position: Senior Associate | Corporate M&A

PQE: 4–8 years

Location: Mumbai

Role Overview

The firm is seeking a Senior Associate with strong hands-on M&A experience, capable of independently running transactions and supporting partners on complex domestic and cross-border deals.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently manage end-to-end M&A transactions with minimal supervision

• Draft, negotiate, and finalize transaction documents including SPAs, SHAs, SSAs, term sheets, and ancillary agreements

• Lead legal due diligence processes and coordinate deal execution and closing

• Advise clients on transaction structuring, risk assessment, and regulatory considerations

• Work closely with partners on live mandates and client strategy

• Supervise and mentor junior associates, as required

Candidate Profile

• 4–8 years PQE in Corporate M&A

• Proven experience in PE/VC transactions, strategic acquisitions, and/or cross-border deals

• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to operate independently under tight timelines

• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and client-handling skills
