Your Role:


Your role as a landscape architect will be to provide innovative and aesthetically pleasing environment. Ensuring that changes to the natural environment are appropriate, sensitive and sustainable. Collaborating closely with other professionals, you will work on a range of projects in both urban and rural settings.


Requirements
  • Establish general landscape requirements with clients
  • Conduct preliminary studies of the site (including contours, soil, ecology, buildings, roads, heritage).
  • Prepare site plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
  • Accurately prepare and present detailed plans and working drawings of the re-design of the new site, including applications, construction details and specifications for the project using computer-aided design (CAD) packages or similar design software.
  • Select appropriate landscaping materials
  • Analyse environmental reports on land conditions, such as drainage and energy usage.
  • Inspect landscape project progress to ensure that it adheres to plans.
  • Carry out site visits and ensure they are documented.
  • Liaise with other professionals on the project.
  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture/ master’s in architecture with specialisation in landscape architecture.
  • A good working knowledge of AutoCAD is essential.
  • Demonstrable presentation and client relations skills.
  • Excellent graphic and visualization skills to communicate design ideas.
  • Excellent collaboration skills, good self-organisation, and strong ability to work in a team environment
  • 12+ years of relevant design experience in various typologies.
  • Candidates must have strong design conceptualization and execution skills with high proficiency and experience in using AutoCAD, Sketch up, Photoshop, and other advanced software.
  • The architect should be well versed in architectural standards/processes and sustainability standards such as GRIHA/LEED/ECBC/ WELL
  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to multi-task and stay ahead of deadlines.
