Job Description

As a member of the Deals Corporate Finance team at PwC, you will play a crucial role in providing strategic advice and support to clients in various areas such as mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring. Your primary focus will be on helping clients navigate complex transactions and maximize value in their business deals. Additionally, you will be responsible for analyzing financial data, conducting due diligence, and assisting in mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. Key Responsibilities: - Work on and deliver Deals Corporate Finance related requests by utilizing appropriate research sources and searching for the necessary information. - Support in the preparation of marketing materials, management presentations, pitchbooks, teasers, and confidential information memorandums. - Develop financial models and analyze financials for quantitative research on financial statements, valuation multiples, weighted average cost of capital, etc. - Prepare company profiles, industry and economic overviews. - Identify target/buyer companies, comparable companies, and transactions. - Organize research findings into meaningful deliverables for the requestor. - Provide input on best practices and process optimization opportunities. - Handle varied work requests within a short turnaround time. Qualifications Required: - Ability to analyze and anticipate client requests, interpret asks, and act according to expectations. - Good reasoning and analytical ability. - Capable of designing new research approaches to enhance quality and productivity. - Good understanding of databases like CapitalIQ, ThomsonOne, etc., will be an added advantage. - Proficient in MS Office tools. - Effective verbal and written communication skills. - Self-motivated and capable of working independently as well as in a team. - Proven project and time management skills. - Self-starter with the ability to multitask and reprioritize constantly. - Manages multiple responsibilities in the face of competing priorities, setting task priorities based on importance and urgency. - Takes responsibility for ensuring that assigned tasks are completed in a timely manner to a high standard. - Manages and contributes to the development of junior staff. - Contributes to the effective functioning of the team. Education/Qualifications: - CA/CA-Inter/CFA/MBA/Bachelor or master's degree in commerce with a minimum of 3 years of experience.,
