Senior Associate - Business Intelligence

As a Business Intelligence Developer in the Pharma sector, you will collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to deliver BI solutions that drive key decision-making for Commercial functions. Leveraging your deep domain knowledge of pharmaceutical sales, claims, and secondary data, you will structure and optimize BI reporting frameworks. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing, maintaining, and optimizing interactive dashboards and visualizations primarily using PowerBI, as well as other BI tools like Tableau/Qlik. - Translating business requirements into effective data visualizations and actionable reporting solutions customized to end-user needs. - Writing complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and present data efficiently from large datasets in Data Lakes or Data Warehouses. - Conducting data validation, QA checks, and troubleshooting stakeholder-reported issues through root cause analysis and implementing solutions. - Collaborating with data engineering teams to define data models, KPIs, and automate data pipelines feeding BI tools. - Managing ad-hoc and recurring reporting needs to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and consistency of data outputs. - Driving process improvements in dashboard development, data governance, and reporting workflows. - Documenting dashboard specifications, data definitions, and maintaining data dictionaries. - Staying updated with industry trends in BI tools, visualization best practices, and emerging data sources in the healthcare and pharma space. - Prioritizing and managing multiple BI project requests in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Qualifications required for this role include: - 3+ years of experience in BI development, reporting, or data visualization, preferably in the pharmaceutical or life sciences domain. - Strong hands-on experience in building dashboards using Power BI. - Advanced SQL skills for querying and transforming data across complex data models. - Familiarity with pharma data such as Sales, Claims, and secondary market data is advantageous. - Experience in data profiling, cleansing, and standardization techniques. - Ability to translate business questions into effective visual analytics. - Strong communication skills to interact with stakeholders and present data insights clearly. - Self-driven, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with minimal supervision in a team-oriented environment. - Exposure to data warehousing concepts and cloud data platforms like Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery is considered a plus. Education qualifications include a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in computer science, engineering, or other technical disciplines.,
