The Project: Building an Intelligent Astrology Platform

You will be architecting and building the core AI intelligence layer that powers our entire platform. This is a greenfield project where you will create a sophisticated multi-agent AI system.

What You Will Build

Multi-Agent AI System (40%)

• Chart Analysis Agent - Complex birth chart calculations
• Query Agent - Natural language understanding and responses
• Remedy Agent - Personalized solution recommendations

• Master Orchestrator - Query routing and workflow coordination

Knowledge & Intelligence Layer (30%)

• RAG System - Semantic search over Vedic texts
• LLM Integration - Fine-tune models for predictions
• Knowledge Base - Structure astrological knowledge
• Context Management - Multi-turn conversations
• Quality Assurance - Accurate, empathetic predictions

Backend Services & APIs (20%)

• FastAPI Services - High-performance REST APIs
• Astrological Calculations - Swiss Ephemeris integration
• Database Architecture - PostgreSQL schemas
• Caching Layer - Redis optimization
• Authentication & Security - JWT, rate limiting

ML Model Development (10%)

• Transit Predictions - Planetary movement forecasts
• Compatibility Analysis - Relationship scoring

Must-Have Technical Skills

LLM & Agent Systems:

• Expert-level experience with LangChain, LangGraph, or similar
• Proven track record building multi-agent systems in production
• Advanced prompt engineering and optimization techniques
• Deep understanding of LLM capabilities and limitations
• Experience with function calling and structured outputs

Vector Databases & RAG:

• Production implementation of RAG architectures
• Hands-on with Pinecone, Weaviate, ChromaDB, or Qdrant
• Semantic search and embedding strategies
• Query optimization for sub-200ms retrieval times

Backend Engineering (Critical)

Python Expertise:

• 5+ years professional Python development
• Production experience with FastAPI
• Mastery of async programming (asyncio, ASGI)
• Clean code principles and design patterns
• Strong testing practices (pytest, >80% coverage)

Database & Data Management:

• PostgreSQL - Complex queries, optimization, indexing
• Redis - Caching patterns, session management, queues
• Vector databases - CRUD operations, metadata filtering
• Schema design and migration management

Nice-to-Have Skills

• RLHF implementation experience
• Knowledge graphs (Neo4j, AWS Neptune)
• GraphQL API design
• Kubernetes for container orchestration
