Senior Architect

A Senior Architect is responsible for leading a team of junior architects, ensuring high-quality design and documentation, and coordinating with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of minimum two junior architects, providing guidance and feedback.

- Design and Documentation: Oversee the preparation of architectural designs, working drawings, and municipal approval drawings.

- Building Bylaws: Ensure compliance with building bylaws and regulations.

- Drawing Sequencing: Manage the sequencing of drawings to be issued on site, ensuring they are checked and verified before issue.

- Coordination: Coordinate with RCC and MEP consultants, architects, and project teams for design intent and accuracy.

- Contract Management: Possess basic knowledge of building contracts, rates, and work order drafts.

Requirements

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Architecture.

- Experience: 8 years of relevant experience, with at least 3-5 years in a senior or leadership role.

- Software Proficiency: Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other architectural design software.

- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
