Senior Application / Technical Specialist (Micro Imaging)

In this role, you will serve as a subject matter expert with comprehensive technical proficiency in the Industrial microscopy business. You will represent Evident in various forums across India, offering technical guidance and support to the Sales team. Your responsibilities will include leading the identification of new application requirements in alignment with global and regional strategies. Additionally, you will conduct seminars and presentations for customers on diverse platforms throughout the country. Key Responsibilities: - Provide technical expertise in the industrial microscopy sector, encompassing installation, testing, commissioning, repair, maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting. - Offer prompt, professional, and accurate responses to technical queries from domestic customers and distributors. - Conduct training sessions and presentations for customers and distributors regarding equipment operation, usage, and maintenance. - Foster strong customer relationships to drive business opportunities. - Contribute application insights and localized marketing content to the Marketing team. - Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer needs and recommend suitable imaging solutions. - Customize microscope systems to meet user requirements, such as integrating imaging software and conducting measurement analysis. - Assist in trials, proof-of-concept studies, and evaluation reports. - Stay abreast of the latest microscopy technologies and industry trends. - Introduce new applications to potential customers for market expansion. - Provide technical guidance to Sales & Application teams from distributors. - Gather competitor information from the market and highlight Evident product advantages. - Engage with Technical and Application Specialists in the APAC region to enhance product knowledge and competitiveness. - Participate in trade shows, workshops, and industry conferences as a technical expert. - Offer feedback to product development teams based on field applications and user feedback. Qualification & Experience: - Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, or equivalent field. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role. Key Skills/Core Competencies: - Experience in Electronics, R&D, Academia, Oil & Gas, Power, or Automotive sectors is highly desirable. - Familiarity with the Industrial Microscopy industry is advantageous. - Strong team player with exceptional written and verbal communication skills. - Highly organized with superior customer service capabilities. - Proficiency in statistics and data analysis. - Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Salesforce, and SAP software.,
