Senior Appian Developer L3 Certified

Seeking a highly skilled Appian Developer with at least 8 years of IT experience, including a minimum of 6 years in Appian BPM and a mandatory Appian L3 (Lead/Level 3) certification. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and lead enterprise-grade Appian solutions, mentor junior developers, and contribute to end-to-end BPM project delivery in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, development, and deployment of complex, scalable Appian applications.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications.
• Create, configure, and optimize Appian objects: process models, SAIL interfaces, records, rules, constants, CDTs, and integrations.
• Implement advanced integrations with external systems (REST, SOAP, databases), and design Appian plug-ins when required.
• Apply best practices in performance tuning, security, and maintainability.
• Conduct technical reviews, unit testing, code reviews, and mentor junior developers while enforcing Appian standards.
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Stay current on the latest Appian features and promote adoption of emerging platform capabilities like RPA and AI.
• Support production deployments and provide post-launch maintenance and enhancements.

Appian L3/Lead Developer Certification (ACD301): Mandatory

• Proven ability to lead large-scale Appian implementations and deliver robust, high-performance applications.
• In-depth knowledge of all major Appian components: SAIL, process models, records, sites, security, rules, and integrations.
• Expertise in relational databases (SQL, PostgreSQL/Oracle), and Appian data modeling.
• Strong understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), APIs, and DevOps concepts.
• Experience guiding, mentoring, and code-reviewing other Appian developers.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and client-facing skills.

Desired Skills

• Experience with Appian RPA, AI, IDP, or other advanced Appian modules.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket), and Appian Cloud deployment.
• Working knowledge of Agile and/or DevOps practices in software delivery.
