Senior Android Engineer

As a Technical Lead Android at our reputed MNC client, your role is crucial in overseeing the development and delivery of scalable, secure, and high-quality Android solutions. You will shape full-stack frameworks supporting multi-country, multi-currency, and multi-brand mobile applications. Your guidance will drive the adoption of best practices and ensure successful implementation by the development team. Key Responsibilities: - Prototype, design, and develop robust Android applications for diverse use cases. - Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into functional mobile application features. - Mentor and lead junior developers to maintain development standards and coding practices. - Drive continuous improvement in coding standards, software quality, and development processes. - Lead agile software engineering teams through the full development lifecycle. - Work with product owners to create technical strategies and product roadmaps. - Communicate technical vision and project updates effectively to internal teams and leadership. - Coordinate with cross-functional teams for end-to-end product delivery. Required Experience & Skills: - Minimum 6+ years of Android application development experience. - 2+ years of hands-on experience with Kotlin. - 3+ years of managing and mentoring teams of 2+ engineers. - Strong experience (4+ years) in Java for enterprise-grade mobile applications. - Proficiency in Agile methodologies, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD). - Experience with distributed teams and collaboration. - Expertise in Object-Oriented Analysis and Design, Software Design Patterns, and Full-Stack Development Principles. - Hands-on experience with Android architecture components, RESTful APIs, Git, CI/CD pipelines, unit testing frameworks. - Familiarity with modern enterprise Android development frameworks and patterns. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for articulating complex technical concepts clearly.,
