Senior Android Developer

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain high-quality Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack libraries
  • Develop modular Gradle-based libraries and internal SDKs (.aar) to be shared across apps • Create and maintain reusable UI components, ensuring consistency and theme compliance • Integrate secure and compliant payment flows using Stripe, Google Pay, and other native SDKs • Implement secure authentication flows using OAuth2, JWT, and session management • Use Android Keystore, EncryptedSharedPreferences, and BiometricPrompt for sensitive data handling • Design resilient architecture with background sync, error recovery, retry logic, and offline-first support • Write unit tests and support test automation in CI/CD pipelines • Collaborate with design, backend, and platform teams to ensure alignment and quality across the ecosystem • Contribute to internal documentation, code reviews, and team mentoring

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience in Android development using Kotlin
  • Strong command of Jetpack architecture components: ViewModel, Navigation, Hilt, WorkManager, DataStore • Experience in modular project structures, reusable SDKs, and scalable Gradle-based architectures • Deep understanding of authentication (OAuth2, JWT) and secure data storage practices • Proficiency with Android Keystore, biometric security, and hardware-backed encryption • Hands-on experience integrating Stripe, Google Pay, and managing payment workflows • Solid understanding of unit testing, coroutines, and reactive state handling (Flow, LiveData) • Familiarity with Git workflows and continuous integration tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Bitrise).
