Senior Android Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain high-quality Android applications.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features.

• Optimize applications for maximum performance, scalability, and maintainability.

• Ensure the best possible user experience through efficient and robust UI/UX designs.

• Debug and resolve complex technical issues in existing applications.

• Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following industry standards and best practices.

• Integrate third-party APIs, SDKs, and services as required.

• Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in Android development.

Qualifications

Technical Skills:

• Proven experience in Android development with a solid understanding of the Android SDK and Android Studio.

• Proficiency in Kotlin and Java programming languages.

• Strong understanding of MVVM, MVP, or other architectural patterns.

• Experience with Jetpack components such as LiveData, Room, Navigation, and WorkManager.

• Expertise in RESTful APIs, JSON, and third-party libraries like Retrofit, Glide, or OkHttp.

• Familiarity with version control tools like Git.

• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and processes.

• Understanding of database management systems such as SQLite and Realm.

• Experience with Android testing frameworks (JUnit, Espresso, etc.).

Soft Skills:

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Ability to mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.

• Attention to detail and a proactive mindset in identifying and resolving issues.

Experience:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Android development.

• Demonstrable experience with publishing apps on Google Play Store.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
