Senior Android Developer

As a Senior Android Developer at our company, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and maintenance of native Android applications. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality performance, UI/UX, and compliance with security standards. Here is what you will be expected to do: Key Responsibilities: - Architect, build, and maintain advanced Android applications using Kotlin and Android SDK. - Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party libraries for optimal performance and reliability. - Implement modern Android development practices such as MVVM, Jetpack components, Room, Coroutines, LiveData, and ViewModel. - Collaborate with UX/UI teams to refine app interfaces for usability and accessibility. - Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and device compatibility optimization. - Manage app releases to Google Play Store including signing, versioning, deployment, and maintenance. - Ensure application security and compliance with privacy frameworks like HIPAA and GDPR. - Mentor junior developers, promote coding best practices, and participate in solution design discussions. Core Skillsets: - Advanced proficiency in Kotlin and Android SDK. - Strong understanding of Android UI design principles, Material Design, and responsive layouts. - Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose is preferred. - Solid grasp of mobile architecture patterns like Clean Architecture and MVVM. - Knowledge of mobile app security standards and secure coding practices. - Experience using Git, CI/CD pipelines, and development tools like Android Studio, Firebase, and Crashlytics. - Familiarity with cloud integration services such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
