Senior Android Developer

As an Android Developer at the company, your role involves developing and maintaining Android applications across various devices. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features, enhance existing functionalities, and ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. **Key Responsibilities:** - Implementing UI/UX designs using the latest components like Recycler View and Constraint Layout - Excelling in managing background tasks and implementing best practices - Working with Fragments and Activities, with optional skills in Video/Audio playback - Utilizing version control tools such as Git or SVN for code management - Collaborating with backend teams to integrate APIs and improve application performance - Optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability - Conducting code reviews, analyzing and debugging code - Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code - Designing, building, and maintaining high-performance, reusable, and reliable Java/Kotlin code - Identifying and correcting bottlenecks, fixing bugs, and maintaining code quality, organization, and automatization **Qualifications Required:** - Proficiency in Core Java concepts and Android Core Components - Familiarity with Kotlin - Up-to-date knowledge of UI/UX components - Extensive experience with Retrofit, Volley, JSON parsing, and integration of image handling libraries - Strong understanding of version control tools, Android SDK, different versions of Android, RESTful APIs, Android UI design principles, and performance tuning In addition to the above qualifications, you should have the ability to design applications around natural user interfaces, understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements, work with cloud message APIs and push notifications, and have a knack for benchmarking and optimization.
