Senior Analyst

Role: Fund Accountant - Sr. Analyst

Location: Vikhroli, Mumbai

Position Responsibilities:

The role will involve the following critical activities:

• Prepare and review loan schedules, interest accruals, amortization (OID/Premium/Discount), and repayment updates.
• Process daily/periodic loan servicing activities including drawdowns, repayments, roll-forwards, cash movements, and rate resets.
• Assist with maintenance of general ledger, journal entries, and reconciliation of loan-level data.
• Support credit facility accounting (subscription lines, revolvers, leverage facilities).
• Assist in preparation of monthly/quarterly NAV packs and financial reporting schedules.
• Perform investor allocations for income, expenses, fees, and capital activities.
• Prepare supporting schedules for management fees, performance fees, and waterfall models.
• Support preparation of investor statements and reporting packs.
• Assist with loan valuation processes including PIK interest review, amortization calculations, and impairment indicators.
• Review pricing inputs, benchmark rates (SOFR/LIBOR), and valuation consistency.
• Perform variance analysis and support month-end closing activities.
• Maintain documentation, checklists, and control evidence for audit and compliance reviews.
• Liaise with fund administrators, custodians, and internal teams to resolve breaks and operational issues.
• Ensure data accuracy and timely completion of deliverables

Looking for:

Must Have

• Qualified Accountant or equivalent.
• CA with 2+ years experience in Fund Accounting OR MBA (Finance) with 4+ years with exposure to Private Credit / Direct Lending / Loan products.
• Strong understanding of loan accounting, interest accruals, amortization, and loan operations.
• Handson experience with Excel (pivot tables, lookups) and accounting systems.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage deadlines and deliver highquality outputs.
• Ability to compute and review interest accruals, PIK interest, commitment fees, prepayment penalties, and amortization schedules.
• Exposure to fund administration environment.
