Primary Key Responsibilities (Top 3-5 KRA)

Strong communication skills to drive conversations through active participations in calls,

MI Reporting
- Preparation of financial analysis related to business performance or plan, serve a liaison / interface with various internal departments
- Provide up to management regarding budget and forecasts, informing them of risks and opportunities.
- Revenue and Cost reporting against plan/ forecast, variance analysis and insights at department level.
- Preparing detailed Revenue and Cost MI
- Management reviews and value added analysis.
- Provide insights on positive and negative trends and anomalies associated with performance and communicate to business stakeholders.
- Develop, implement and maintain support documentation regarding operations, functionality, framework, policies and procedures
- Automate manual operations tasks and optimize business processes to reduce workload and create proficiencies wherever applicable
- Deliver scheduled reporting tasks
- Drive implementation of new processes and procedures
Forecasting and Budgeting
- Create and maintain financial forecasts. Analysing the forecasts and giving value added insights on variances.
- Create and manage budgets, including annual budgets and financial plans. Work with other departments to create accurate budgets.
Month end
- Reviewing of the month end financials, create month end financial reporting , balance sheet reconciliations, updating general ledgers to ensure accuracy of financial information.
- Ensuring compliance of relevant accounting checks. Be able to substantiate to auditor the basis and validity of revenue and costs.
- Fixed asset accounting.
Data integrity management
- Validating the financial data received from key systems with appropriate check and balances
- Understanding the implications on business performance and relate this in accounting terms
- Reconciliation and validation of data at regular intervals
- Deal with queries on data from Finance team and business stakeholders independently
Ad Hoc
- Working on ad hoc request received from internal and external stakeholders
- Explanation the key movements and trends of MI figures to stakeholders
- Finance UK - for hand offs, co-ordination, reporting
- HR - recruitment and training
- IT - Systems access
- Business Areas - provide/seek information
- Finance Systems - applications support

Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Educational Qualification
Knowledge & Skills (Must Have) :
- Experience in Record to Report / FP&A
- Good analytical skills and commercial mindset
- Good knowledge of financial modelling, accounting, finance concepts with month end closing activities
- Practitioner knowledge in Office 365
- Good communication and presentation skills (verbal and written)
- Attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills, quick learner, SMART worker.
- Ability to effectively absorb information from various sources, then analyse and examine data in detail, and draw appropriate conclusions.

Experience:
- 2 to 3 years of relevant experience
Educational Qualification:
- Inter CA /Cost Accountant / MBA in Finance / Post Graduate or a Commerce Graduate
