Senior Accounts Manager

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Manager with strong expertise in end-to-end accounting operations for US-based clients. This position will oversee Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), reconciliations, compliance, and financial reporting, while managing a small team and collaborating closely with global stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has experience with multi-entity accounting, US GAAP standards, and modern accounting tools such as QuickBooks and Xero , ensuring process accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee complete Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) cycles, including invoicing, collections, vendor payments, and reconciliations.
• Supervise and mentor the billing and accounting team, ensuring timely and accurate deliverables.
• Manage month-end and year-end closings, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Validate Purchase Orders (POs), Goods Received Notes (GRNs), and invoices for accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain organized and audit-ready financial documentation.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP, Indian Accounting Standards, and statutory requirements such as TDS, GST, and tax filings.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, management reports, and cash flow forecasts.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors to ensure transparent financial operations.
• Propose and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance efficiency.

Requirements

• Education:
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
• Professional certifications preferred: CA (Inter/Final), CPA (US), CMA, ACCA, or other equivalent accounting qualifications.

• Experience

  :
• Minimum 810 years in accounting or finance roles, including at least 35 years managing US or global accounting operations.

• Technical Skills

  :
• ERP & Accounting Tools: QuickBooks (Online & Desktop), Tally, Xero,
• Advanced Excel / Google Sheets (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Dashboard Reporting)
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Payroll Processing, Reconciliations, and Statutory Compliance
• Working familiarity with US GAAP / IFRS and internal controls
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent communication and reporting skills (email and client calls)
• Strong analytical and leadership capabilities
• Attention to detail with process ownership mindset
• Ability to work across global time zones and meet deadlines
