Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Senior Accountant at MorSer Solutions. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing the financial activities of the company, including preparing financial statements, maintaining general ledger accounts, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards. Roles and Responsibilities: 1. Make sure we have all the documents we need from the property. This will be a similar list to loan docs we need for loan closings but will be more elaborate. 2. Keep a centralized location of the main property information, potentially in a unified excel document. 3. Review monthly expenses on each property ensuring it is in line with what we expect. 4. Reconcile the income and expenses on each property, comparing the appfolio account information with the bank statements. (ensure there aren’t additional funds being sent out from our accounts to places we aren’t aware of) 5. Review property rental income, keep tabs on vacancies, non-payers to ensure the property managers are doing a good job. 6. Learn to use non-profit crm system. 7. Input all historical pledges and payments 8. Input all donor contact information 9. Input all open/unpaid pledges 10. Create invoice template 11. Create thank you letter template Show more Show less
