Position : US Property Management Accountant With AppFolio Location : Remote Shift : Night Shift App Folio Experience is Mandatory Key Roles and Responsibilities:  Responsible for the month and quarter-end close process for each of our division.  V erifying property invoices.  Onboarding new properties on app folio  Managing monthly rent  Journal entries, bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals & prepaid expenses.  Planned and ensured structured P&L and Balance Sheet reviews with functional teams  Compile and analyze general ledger detail to prepare entries to accounts and document business transactions  Correction journal & reclassification/relocation journal  Intercompany accounting – entries, reconciliation & settlement  Fixed Assets – Creation, capitalization, depreciation, transfer, disposal & reconciliations  Assist in internal & external audits (annual audit process and other tax reporting process)  Monitor and report on accounting discrepancies  Perform month-end and year-end close processes  Work closely with the accounting department to clear technical matters, report monthly and quarterly accounting updates  Knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR) & Accounts Payable (AP) departments  Reconcile the inventory costing difference – actual vs accrued and investigate the differences.
