The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing the financial activities of the company, including preparing financial statements, maintaining general ledger accounts, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards. Roles and Responsibilities: 1. Make sure we have all the documents we need from the property. This will be a similar list to loan docs we need for loan closings but will be more elaborate. 2. Keep a centralized location of the main property information, potentially in a unified excel document. 3. Review monthly expenses on each property ensuring it is in line with what we expect. 4. Reconcile the income and expenses on each property, comparing the appfolio account information with the bank statements. (ensure there aren’t additional funds being sent out from our accounts to places we aren’t aware of) 5.
