Senior Accountant

As a Senior Accountant at Vihan Engineering Pvt. Ltd. in Ahmedabad, your role involves overseeing core accounting functions, driving month-end/year-end closings, managing project/job costing, and ensuring precise inventory valuation. Your expertise in SAP Business One will be crucial for optimized reporting and integration with operations. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee all core accounting functions including AP/AR, general ledger, fixed assets, and tax compliance. - Drive month-end/year-end closings and prepare financial statements. - Manage project/job costing, WIP tracking, and cost-to-completion reporting. - Ensure precise inventory valuation for components and finished machinery. - Use SAP B1 for optimized reporting and integration with operations. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams for accurate cost tracking. - Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial insights for management. - Maintain compliance, internal controls, and audit preparedness. - Mentor junior accounting staff to align with organizational goals. Requirements: - Bachelors in Accounting, Finance, or related field. - 10-12 years of relevant experience in a capital equipment or manufacturing setup. - Expertise in SAP Business One is mandatory. - In-depth knowledge of job-order costing, WIP, and milestone billing. - Strong understanding of Indian GAAP or IFRS. - High proficiency in MS Excel and financial tools. - Excellent attention to detail, communication, and leadership skills.,
