Job Description

Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

Manage daily accounting transactions, including journal entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
Handle bank reconciliations, expense tracking, and inter-company transactions.
Work on payroll process.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Support coordination with the finance team for monthly closing, invoicing, and reporting.
Ensure timely and accurate maintenance of general ledger and financial records.
Assist in statutory compliance -GST, TDS, and other local tax requirements.
Work with auditors for annual financial audits.
Maintain and improve processes using ERP accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage etc).
Support budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (Master’s degree preferred).
5-10 years of accounting experience, preferably in a private limited company or multinational setup.
Strong knowledge of ERP-based accounting systems (NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage etc.).
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
Good understanding of Indian taxation and compliance (GST, TDS).
Excellent Communication skills
to coordinate with international teams.
High attention to detail, accuracy, and integrity.
