Senior Accountant

Role Overview: As an Accountant at our company, you will be responsible for supporting month-end and year-end close processes to ensure accuracy and compliance. You will collaborate with internal teams to maintain accurate financial records and facilitate audit preparations. Additionally, you will develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to meet regulatory compliance standards. Your role will involve fostering cross-functional collaboration with legal, finance, treasury, tax, product, and R&D teams to deliver innovative and scalable solutions. Furthermore, you will be driving process automation initiatives to streamline journal entries, reporting, and system integrations, enhancing efficiency and accuracy. Taking ownership of ad-hoc requests and special projects will be a key part of your responsibilities, demonstrating adaptability and proactive problem-solving skills. Key Responsibilities: - Support month-end and year-end close processes - Collaborate with internal teams for accurate financial records and audit preparations - Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures - Foster cross-functional collaboration with various teams - Drive process automation initiatives for efficiency - Take ownership of ad-hoc requests and special projects Qualifications Required: - Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Qualified Chartered Accountant - Minimum of 2 years of progressively responsible accounting and finance experience - Preferably at least 2 years of experience in the tech industry, specifically fintech or money transmission services - Detail-oriented with strong project management and organizational skills - Collaborative work style and commitment to achieving results - Strong planning, organizational, decision-making, interpersonal, and analytical skills - Experience with NetSuite ERP and business systems data warehouse infrastructure is preferred - Ability to thrive in a dynamic accounting department, effectively managing multiple entities, projects, and deliverables,
