Role Description

We are seeking a Senior Accountant for a full-time, on-site role based in Navi Mumbai. The Senior Accountant will oversee financial transactions, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure compliance with tax regulations and auditing practices. Daily responsibilities include preparing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, executing budget planning and forecasting, and assisting with internal and external audits. This role also involves collaborating with team members to ensure financial accuracy and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Proficient in accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax compliance
• Skilled in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
• Proficiency in accounting software and tools such as Tally, QuickBooks, or similar platforms
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for managing financial records and audits
• Working knowledge of business regulations and industry-specific tax requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CA/CPA certification is a plus)
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting and independently to meet deadlines

Experience:

• Lead and manage the

• Prepare and review

  monthly P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow & MIS reports

• Ensure

  GST, TDS, Income Tax

  compliance and timely filings
• Monitor

  cost control, revenue tracking, and profitability

• Handle audits, reconciliations, and management reporting

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

• Accuracy & timeliness

  of P&L and financial reports

• Zero or minimal compliance errors

  in GST/TDS/IT filings

• Closing of monthly books

  within defined timelines

• Cost optimization & variance control

  against budget

• Team productivity & task completion rate

• Audit observations resolved within stipulated time
