Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Compliance & Regulatory:

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable taxation laws including

    GST, Income Tax, TDS, RERA

    , and other statutory requirements relevant to the real estate sector, with support from junior staff.
  • Manage timely and accurate filing of

    GST, TDS returns

    and coordinate with external consultants as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with

    ROC

    filings including annual returns, minutes, resolutions, AGM and related filings,

    MSME returns

    , etc.
  • Follow up with

    financial institutions

    for project approvals (e.g., APF Approved Project Financing) and availing credit facilities, following up for disbursement, transfer of funds, loan documentation and periodic reporting, etc. Ensure that all the covenants of the project financing are met.

Accounting & Financial Management:

  • Prepare and review

    financial statements

    , ensuring accounting schedules are accurate and up-to-date with help from junior staff.
  • Maintain

    proper record-keeping

    of all financial transactions, including

    accounts payable, receivable, cash receipts, credit card transactions, and payroll

    .
  • Oversee

    internal controls

    and contribute to

    streamlining of financial processes

    to ensure transparency and efficiency.
  • Verify payments to contractors and vendors including purchase and expense bills.

Reporting & Analysis:

  • Prepare timely and accurate

    MIS reports

    as required by Management.
  • Implement and monitor

    budgets

    , perform

    variance analysis

    , and provide actionable insights.
  • Prepare

    provisional cash flow statements

    and assist in liquidity planning.

Audit & Internal Controls:

  • Oversee

    statutory and internal audits

    and ensure timely completion with the support of junior staff.
  • Ensure implementation of best practices in

    internal financial controls

    and

    process improvements

    .

Employee-related Finance:

  • Verify

    TDS deductions

    and ensure accuracy in

    salary disbursements

    , and statutory payments such as

    PF, ESIC, and PT

    , with support from junior staff.

Administrative & Other Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain

    minutes of meetings

    (Company, Society, etc.) and coordinate with external consultants as needed.
  • Handle

    any additional tasks

    delegated by the Management from time to time.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/Masters degree in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, or related field;
  • Proven experience in finance/accounting, ideally within the

    Real estate or construction

    sector.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian taxation laws (GST, Income Tax, TDS), ROC compliance, and RERA.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books, or ERP systems).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage junior staff and coordinate with external consultants.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
