Senior Accountant

Role Overview: You will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and assisting in the day-to-day accounting functions of the company. Your role will involve working closely with internal teams to ensure financial compliance and accuracy in financial reporting. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure all financial transactions are recorded in compliance with company policies and accounting standards. - Reconcile bank statements and other accounts, ensuring discrepancies are identified and resolved. - Ensure the accuracy of financial transactions and balances. - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. - Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts and budgets. - Provide detailed reports and analysis of financial performance to management. - Assist with the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations. - Stay updated on tax laws and regulations to ensure accurate tax filings. - Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and supporting evidence. - Ensure all financial documents are organized and readily available for audit processes. - Track company expenses and revenue streams to ensure financial efficiency. - Provide financial analysis to support decision-making and identify areas for cost reduction or efficiency improvements. - Follow up on overdue accounts and resolve discrepancies with vendors or customers. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) are a plus.
