Senior Accountant AP & AR (Foreign Accounting)

As a Supply Chain Management firm specializing in efficient logistics, procurement, and vendor management solutions, you work with international clients across the UK, Canada, and the USA to ensure seamless financial operations in a fast-paced industry. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure accurate recording of transactions in Sage, QuickBooks, or Stampli. - Work closely with procurement and supply chain teams for invoice verification. - Manage client invoicing and collections across UK, Canada, and USA currencies. - Maintain accurate financial records and reporting. - Perform bank reconciliations and ensure proper ledger maintenance. - Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes. - Ensure compliance with international financial regulations (GAAP/IFRS). - Support external audits and provide necessary documentation. - Identify areas to enhance efficiency in AP & AR workflows. - Work with finance and IT teams to automate processes where possible. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. - Strong knowledge of Sage, QuickBooks, Stampli, or similar accounting tools. - Expertise in multi-currency transactions & reconciliations. - Strong understanding of financial reporting (GAAP/IFRS). - Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Financial Modeling). - Experience working with vendors and clients in an international environment. - Excellent communication and analytical skills.
