Security Officer

The Security Officer will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment across the textile manufacturing facility. The role involves overseeing daily security operations, monitoring access control, preventing theft or unauthorized entry, and ensuring compliance with company safety and security standards.

The position requires a vigilant, disciplined, and proactive individual capable of handling both people and situations effectively in an industrial setting.

Key Responsibilities:1. Plant & Premises Security

• Supervise and monitor all entry and exit points of the factory, warehouse, and administrative areas.
• Ensure effective implementation of security procedures for personnel, visitors, materials, and vehicles.
• Conduct routine patrolling of plant areas to prevent theft, fire, or any untoward incidents.
• Monitor CCTV surveillance systems and coordinate with guards for any unusual activity.
• Manage and control movement of raw materials, finished goods, and equipment to avoid pilferage.

2. Personnel & Visitor Management

• Check and verify ID cards, visitor passes, and gate passes for entry and exit.
• Maintain visitor logs and ensure proper escorting procedures are followed.
• Ensure that security guards maintain discipline, dress code, and alertness during duty hours.

3. Compliance & Reporting

• Prepare and maintain daily security reports, gate logs, and incident reports.
• Report security breaches, accidents, or suspicious activity immediately to management.
• Assist in fire safety drills, emergency response, and evacuation procedures.
• Ensure compliance with company safety and security policies.

4. Coordination & Supervision

• Supervise and schedule duties of security guards and contract security staff.
• Liaise with local police, fire services, and civic authorities when required.
• Coordinate with HR and Admin departments on employee conduct, transport, and general discipline.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Graduate or 12th pass with relevant experience.
• Ex-Servicemen (Army / Police / Paramilitary) preferred.
• Minimum 5–10 years of industrial security experience, preferably in manufacturing or textile sector.
• Strong observational skills and ability to act swiftly during emergencies.
• Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with CCTV and access control systems.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
