Security Officer ( Ex- Army from Manufacturing Industry experience)

POSITION OVERVIEW :

1. Responsible for supporting Security Operations & and time office (HR activities) and fulfilling all tasks assigned.
2. This role includes but is not limited to the development and execution of a strategy to create joint value propositions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

1. Inspect and patrol premises regularly.
2. Authorize entrance of people and vehicles.
3. Report any suspicious behaviors and happenings.
4. Respond to alarms and react in a timely manner.
5. Submit reports of daily surveillance activity
6. Submit reports of every suspicious action.
7. Control and oversee the organizations security operations.
8. Ensure the safety of office personnel, buildings, and assets.
9. Responsibilities included operating/maintaining and sensitively monitoring CCTV, handling business and individual receiving, document management, and completing file upkeep.
10. Teach security personnel how to deal with people in both emergency and non-emergency circumstances.
11. Security personnel are instructed and have activities and programs scheduled.
12. Analyze, appraise, and evaluate security personnels performance.
13. Before allowing visitors on the property, check them out.
14. Maintain the functionality of all security tools and products.
15. Create and put into action precautions against risks including theft, accidents, and other occurrences.
16. While implementing security measures, be sure that all applicable policies and regulations are being followed.

ACCOUNTABILITIES AND PERFORMANCE MEASURES :

1. Write security reports and submit them to the HR Manager as per schedules.
2. In-ward, out-ward, NRGP, RGP, Men & Material movements as per policy.
3. Extroverted with good communication skill and interpersonal skills.
4. Ensure safety.
5. Verify the functionality of all security equipment, including the CCTV and burglar alarms.
6. Weekly night patrolling.
7. Observe surveillance footage and check the identification of visitors and locals.
8. Contract Labor attendance.
9. Basic First Aid & Fire Fighting training to be provided to security on a quarterly basis.
10. Monitor Fire Yard Hydrant and fire safety equipment and coordinate periodical checks with the Maintenance team.

ORGANIZATIONAL ALIGNMENT :

1. Reports to the Manager of Human Resources.
2. Closely coordinates company executive involvement with the partners as appropriate.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, ABILITIES & WORK CONDITIONS :

1. Any Graduate.
2. Preferably from Ex-Service personnel.
3. Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook)
4. Minimum 05 - 10 years experience in a related field.
5. Commanding, credibility, integrity, discretion, diplomacy, flexibility and emotional intelligence.
6. Proven ability to install, test, commission, and service Fire Alarm Systems and/or Security Systems
7. Ability to communicate with both external and internal customers in a professional and consistent manner.
8. Experience in the manufacturing industry is preferable.
9. Local language is a must along with fluency in English & Hindi.
10. The Person will be based in our office in India.
