Job Description

Job Summary:

Security & Networking Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

Configure, manage, and monitor enterprise network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers.
Implement and maintain security tools such as intrusion detection systems (IDS), intrusion prevention systems (IPS), antivirus, and SIEM solutions.
Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and security audits.
Troubleshoot and resolve network and security incidents, including DDoS attacks, unauthorized access attempts, and malware infections.
Monitor network traffic and security alerts, responding to anomalies and threats in real-time.
Ensure proper implementation of encryption, access control, and authentication protocols.
Collaborate with IT and DevOps teams to secure cloud and hybrid environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Preferred Qualifications:

Relevant certifications such as:

CompTIA Security+

CEH

CISSP
,
CCNA Security
,
Fortinet NSE
,
AWS/Azure Security
.

Experience with cloud security architectures and native tools (AWS Security Hub, Azure Sentinel).
Knowledge of Zero Trust Architecture and secure SD-WAN implementation.
Exposure to identity and access management tools (Okta, Azure AD, LDAP).
Experience with patch management and endpoint detection & response (EDR).
