Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

Luxury Resort Security Operations

• Design, implement, and continuously upgrade

  security strategies

  aligned with luxury hospitality standards.
• Ensure

  24/7 security coverage

  across villas, guestrooms, public areas, beaches/gardens, back-of-house, parking, and perimeters.
• Supervise CCTV surveillance, access control systems, baggage screening, and key control.
• Ensure security presence is

  visible yet unobtrusive

  , preserving the premium guest experience.

Guest Safety & VIP Protection

• Ensure the

  highest level of guest safety

  , privacy, and confidentiality.
• Manage security arrangements for

  VIPs, celebrities, dignitaries, and high-profile events

  .
• Handle guest incidents discreetly, empathetically, and professionally.
• Coordinate with Front Office and Guest Relations to address safety-related guest concerns promptly.

Safety, Fire & Emergency Management

• Lead fire safety systems, emergency preparedness, and evacuation procedures.
• Conduct regular

  fire drills, mock emergency exercises

  , and safety audits.
• Act as Incident Commander during emergencies such as fire, medical cases, theft, natural calamities, or security threats.
• Coordinate with local authorities: police, fire brigade, coast guard (if applicable), and disaster management teams.

Loss Prevention & Asset Protection

• Prevent pilferage, theft, vandalism, and misuse of resort property and assets.
• Monitor vendor, contractor, and supplier movement with strict control protocols.
• Investigate incidents involving guests, staff, or third parties and submit detailed reports.
• Ensure secure handling of cash movements, high-value items, and resort inventories.

Compliance & Statutory Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with

  local laws, fire safety regulations, excise norms, labor laws, and resort licensing requirements

  .
• Maintain statutory registers, security logs, and incident documentation.
• Ensure adherence to brand SOPs, audit requirements, and insurance protocols.
• Support internal and external audits related to safety and security.

Team Leadership & Training

• Recruit, deploy, and manage a well-trained and groomed security team.
• Conduct regular training on:
• Luxury guest interaction
• Emergency response
• Fire safety & first aid
• Conflict handling and de-escalation
• Maintain discipline, appearance, and professional conduct of the security team at all times.

Coordination & Stakeholder Management

• Work closely with

  Front Office, Engineering, Housekeeping, F&B, HR, and Events

  teams.
• Coordinate security arrangements for weddings, conferences, private parties, and outdoor events.
• Support HR in employee background verification and disciplinary matters related to security breaches.

Qualifications & Experience

• Graduate in any discipline (mandatory).
• Certification in

  Fire & Safety / Security Management / Disaster Management

  preferred.

• 1015 years of experience

  in hotel or resort security, with at least

  5 years in a senior managerial role

  .
• Prior experience in

  luxury resorts, 5-star hotels, or international hospitality brands

  is essential.
• Ex-servicemen / Police / Paramilitary background preferred.
